Life is about living a change!

Nothing in this world is constant but 'change'. It’s happening all around us, in all facets of life, making our lives different from what they used to be. We are part of an on-going change, we want it or not. It is remarkable that at every given moment, we go through a change (in our body, behavior, environment, people around us, etc.), but still want to sub-consciously resist it. Change will happen! It is simply unstoppable; that's how this universe works. But there is a difference between passively accepting the change or actively being a part of it.

Actively being a part of the change is like bringing a change - however little it is, somewhere in your everyday routine, work, and the way you aspire to achieve your life objectives. It is like believing that life can be better if we are willing to come out of our comfort zones. We must know whether we are change agents or change recipients. As change agents, we can hope to make a positive difference. But as change recipients, we hardly have any control over what happens to our lives.

But change is never an easy process. Bringing a change, making a difference, touching souls and hearts, and harnessing support for what we believe in is not an easy route. As humans, we are programmed to keep the status quo - unless there is a sense of urgency or crisis. But to actively be the part of the change that happens around us, we must be able to make tough decisions, have confidence, in our capabilities project optimism, and demonstrate audacity. Above all, we must be and live the change what we want to see around us. It calls for a lot of doing than saying. It needs a lot of living than preaching. Nevertheless, if we have determination, resolve, persistence, self-belief, and resiliency, we'll get through one day.

We can and we will make a difference, no matter how small it may be - for a world that is peaceful, prosperous, healthy, happy, and sustainable. The positive change each one of us initiates will go a long way.  The positive change we bring will make someone's life better somewhere. After all, journey of a thousand miles begins from a single step. We must take that step today. We must be the change, live the change!
